What is the STS Programme?
We are offering Kent musicians the opportunity to come and work with us in our studio.
For a limited time, we are offering solo artists, sound artists, and bands from Kent between the ages of 16-25 the opportunity to come into our recording studio in Cliftonville for two sessions(up to 5 hours per session).
All abilities welcome! All you need is something specific you'd like to work on (a song or a recording project).
What is Tonetic?
Tonetic Records is a creative music community that amplifies young voices, helping them overcome barriers into the music industry. We provide an inclusive space for artists ages 16-25 to develop their music skills, gain live performance experience, connect with other creatives, access vital industry knowledge, and realise their artistic vision.
We are a record label and youth-lead project, in partnership with the charity Arts Education Exchange. Our recording studio is based in Cliftonville, Margate.
Within these sessions you can access:
Time in the recording studio: work with us in a fully kitted out recording studio with a recording engineer and plenty of instruments to experiment with.
Song writing workshopping: Get that song you've had half written for ages finished, or redevelop it into a new direction with the tools available within our studio
Music PR & Marketing advice: We'll help you work out how to pitch your music and develop an actionable plan for marketing your music
Feedback on your music: giving honest and constructive feedback about your music and how you could develop your sound.
