Hi I’m Tom, I’m the label lead and a Director at Tonetic Records. I run our recording sessions and am in charge of our general operations.
I listen to lots of different styles of music, but I’m always intrigued by anything experimental or boundary pushing. My favourite artists are Aphex Twin and Bladee and my favourite label is PC Music.
I love working with artists of any genre and am always energised by seeing the different ways people can harness creativity in music. If you throw a niche music genre at me I’ll probably be able to tell you my top 3 artists!
Jack
A&R Manager (They/He)
Howdy, I'm Jack. My role at Tonetic Records is Artist & Repertoire Manager. I work closely with our artists to understand their goals so that I can support them to develop their artistry and use Tonetic Records resources to their advantage.
Currently my favourite styles of music are ambient (4th world, J-Ambient, lowercase), alternative folk & country, and what's getting called 'Crank Wave' (aka pretty much anything that gets covered in 'So Young' magazine).
I really enjoy my work at Tonetic records. It's really awesome getting to help artists get to the bottom of what they want to say and do with their music!
Elliott
Social media manager (They/He)
Ello! I'm Elliott, I've been working with Tonetic since May 2024 as their social media manager. I'm mainly in charge of managing the website, Newsletters, our Instagram, and promoting our young artist's releases!
The music I mainly enjoy is mainly Jpop and Kpop, you can mainly find me listening to a lot of Vocaloid music, the composers Deco*27, PinnochioP, and Inabakumori are my favorites! I also do enioy a lot of grunge music and also Madonna, Lady Gaga and Chappel Roan, im a real pick and mix when it comes fo music!
